The Illusion of Freedom
You grew up in a stable home, surrounded by a loving family. But that love came with expectations, rules, and a pressure that felt suffocating. The second you turned eighteen, you packed your bags. You wanted to finally live life on your own terms.
Then, you met her.
She wasn’t a threat; she was your ticket to freedom. For the first time in your life, you found someone who truly got you. She quickly became your absolute best friend. Conversations were effortless. She listened like your family never did. She built you up, constantly reminding you how beautiful, talented, and capable you were. After a couple of months, she smiled and dropped a casual suggestion that made your heart skip: “You have the perfect look. I have a connection who can get you a high-paying modeling job.”
Believing you were finally on the path to finally finding freedom, you trusted her completely. You packed your bags again.
The Descent Into Darkness
The transition to a living nightmare sets in within weeks. The independence you craved has vanished, replaced by an absolute, terrifying isolation. You have been utterly, brutally deceived.
The high-fashion runways and cameras you envisioned are replaced by locked suburban doors and shadowed hotel rooms. Stripped of your ID, your phone, and your very dignity, you are forced into a life of sexual slavery right here in your own city. You are required to serve the darkest, most predatory fantasies of stranger after stranger. As the endless cycle of clients passes through the door, you feel your soul slipping away, slowly losing who you are to a deep, agonizing darkness.
This isn’t just a story happening across the ocean. The real threat is happening right here with our kids, in our own backyard.
Mobilizing the Church of Kansas City Through Media

With the World Cup coming to Kansas City this summer, the influx of international traffic brings a massive spike in trafficking risks. Recently, I linked arms with Leslie, a friend and volunteer at my Anna Club ministry, to help mobilize the local church to rescue vulnerable women and children.
I brought my skills as a videographer and screens operator to the team—running screens for the speaker’s presentations while simultaneously recording video for the event. Multiple keynote speakers are now using this high-impact video to mobilize churches across our entire region to respond!
The Power of Intercession
While media production is vital, the heaviest lifting is happening in the quietest rooms. Leslie and I have led our nursing home residents in hours of focused prayer for these precious women and children. To witness these faithful seniors crying out in earnest, brokenhearted intercession for exploited children is something I will never forget.
Partner With Us in Prayer
None of this would be possible without your financial partnership. Thank you for equipping me with the tools to give a voice to the voiceless.
As KC takes the world stage from June 11 – July 19, we need a canopy of prayer covering our city.
Please join us in urgent intercession:
-
For Rescue: Immediate intervention for those trapped in trafficking.
-
For Vigilance: That the local church remains bold, discerning, and ready to act.
First in prayer, second in action—let’s fight for Kansas City together.
