In 2004, I heard God say He wanted to rescue unborn babies because He delights in them (Psalm 18:19). For many years, we persevered in prayer and action until, finally in 2022, Roe vs Wade was overturned. We will continue standing on behalf of the unborn until every state stands for LIFE.
In 2005, as I was standing in front of the abortion clinic, I heard the Holy Spirit say, “What about the elderly?” For the past ten years, Theresa and I have said yes to this call. Now, we are entering full-time into giving the elderly a purpose through prayer.
Can you picture with me the halls of the nursing homes of America? Can you picture walking past room after room where seniors have become forgotten and ignored? Does your heart break when you think of this situation? They have been left purposeless. We are turning this around. WE NEED THE ELDERLY! My generation desperately needs these men and women in their place just like the woman Anna was in Jesus’ day serving God with prayer (Luke 2:37).
Do you believe that God wants to send revival to our nation? Great prayer will proceed the next great move of God! The nursing homes and assisted living centers of our nation are filled with men and women who are available. God still has a purpose for them! These are meant to be their best years. He is not finished with their lives. It is a lie from the pit of hell that nothing can be done for them. In fact, the elderly are our future. If they are not in place, we truly believe we will lose a generation. God wants the elderly praying in this stage of their lives so that they will not be “dead even while living” (1 Tim 6).
God has called Theresa and I to give voice to the silent generation in the nursing homes of our city. We will keep fighting for LIFE to prevail in our nation leading children and young adults into a lifestyle of prayer. We have an immediate need of $3650 to cover a gap over the next few months as we work on raising $1022 more a month.
