A Year In Review

Over one full year ago, I was saying good-bye to friends, to family, to Eau Claire, WI, and to Duluth, MN for what I thought would be 6-months. As I came down to participate in the Fire in the Night internship, God apprehended my heart to move here and serve as a missionary full-time in the house of prayer.   Still not fully knowing what I was doing, I took 2 months to visit friends, family and my two hometowns after the internship.  With no guarantees, I packed my bags and moved to Kansas City, MO on September 1, 2009.  I jumped onto full-time staff on the NightWatch immediately.

The Lord has done so much testing, trails, and work in my heart.  I appreciate having each and every one of you in my life as we partner together with God’s heart until Jesus returns.  I look back and never could imagine what has happened.  I am so thankful for all the ups and downs, hard lessons learned.  Jesus has shown Himself as faithful time and time again.  A a child, the love of my heavenly Father is inexhaustible and He knows just how to tend to my heart, allowing for opportunity for me to love and know Him more.  I have never been in need, and I always have had more than enough to give and share.

God moved powerfully with the children during OneThing. I served as a small group leader.  Time here over Christmas was sweet, though I missed seeing my friends and family. The beginning of the new year brought the Leadership Summit, and then a new season of transition to my life.  Please continue to pray for my health as I have been sick on and off.  Also, please continue to prayer for grace to follow the Lamb, the Worthy One, named Jesus.
