God is moving powerfully in the nation of Haiti. Jesus has called me to be a part of His work in that nation. In 2011, I spent two and a half months in Haiti serving Fisher’s of Men Ministries, a ministry that has been laboring in Haiti for over twenty-five years. I am going again. I will spend a week, January 6-13, 2014, laboring for Jesus to get His inheritance of the people of Haiti.
Every Wednesday morning at 4am at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, I help lead a prayer meeting for Haiti. I believe the Father longs to give Jesus an inheritance from the nation of Haiti. I am praying believing that the hour has come for Jesus to get his desire in that nation.
Several years ago, we began a ministry called Haitian Pearl. This ministry is seeking to call the church to pray for God’s purpose to come forth in Haiti. We have an informational website about Haiti to connect believers with what the Lord is doing in that nation. On this trip, we will pursue more connections with ministries in Haiti and gather more information for intercessors. In addition, we will be serving Fisher’s of Men and other ministries. Though we are still planning the exact ministry for the trip, I will likely have opportunity to love on orphans, reunite with the kids I taught two years ago (they are much older now!), pray for the sick in hospitals, and I’m sure Pastor Gary will probably have me sing a song or two at their morning prayer meetings! I will also be able to join over 1,000-2,000 intercessors every morning at 6am for morning prayer. In addition, I will reunite with my Haitian friends encouraging them and continuing to build relationship with them.
In order for me to go to Haiti I need people who will send me. Would you consider giving towards my expenses for my mission trip to Haiti? For airfare and expenses in country, I need about $1,500. Thank you again for helping me impact the nations of the earth. I could not do this without you!
