For ten years, we have faithfully, gone into the nursing home once a week telling the elderly, “You still have a purpose! God hears your voice!” Over the past ten years, we have seen great impact in our ministry. Many have made choices to give their time to prayer.
Now, I will be shifting the primary focus of the next year to building Anna Club. I will be stepping down from leadership at the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC) to free up time to go from two nursing homes to ten by the end of next year. So far, four churches in Kansas City have said yes to having me share about this ministry recruiting many others to join me. I am excited to see people enter into the beautiful heart of Jesus that I have gotten to touch the past ten years. Senior adults are so precious to Him. I am longing for others to see this the way I am seeing it! I will remain on staff at IHOPKC continuing to be in the prayer room and Theresa will continue prayer leading in the afternoons.
IHOPKC generously partnered with us every month. As I step out of that role, this money will come to an end. Please pray with us as we work over the next several months to not only build Anna Club but also work on replacing this income. We are determined to remain full time as a family so we can give our strength to all that Jesus wants to do in our generation.
We are dreaming of a national movement in the nursing homes of America. This seed will grow into something so beautiful in the days to come. It’s time for the voices of the silent generation to be heard before heaven. It’s time for the Annas and Simeons to rise up and pray in the next great harvest and end time revival!
